Kamerin Moore of West Bloomfield finished first in four gymnastics events and won the all-around title at the United States of American Gymnastics Michigan Level 5 Gold state meet at Northwood University in Midland.

The 8-year-old gymnast won the vault (9.300), uneven bars (9.550), balance beam (9.225) and floor exercise (9.350) for a score of 37.425 and first in all-around.

Unofficially, she tied for second place among all age groups from 7- to 13-over categories among competing gymnasts.

Moore, who competes for Geddert's Twistars of Lansing, the team champion, has been active in gymnastics since she was 3 years old. She practices some 16 hours per week. She has competed in eight meets this season and taken first place six times and second place twice.

Moore will now go to Level 6 for the next competitive season.
